The Association for Democracy in Iran (ADI) gives a democracy-diploma to the French energy company Total, which has chosen not to continue with planned investments in Iranian gas fields. Total has demonstrated that ADIs suggestion to boycott the regime is possible and that all companies have a choice between financing the mullahs terror or not to do so. Total chose not to continue to support the Islamist dictatorship.
The regime in Iran is the largest financier of terrorism in the Middle East. The mullahs sponsor and train large terrorist organisations such as Hamas and Hezbollah. Western companies that have trade with Iran are sponsoring the regimes terrorist activities by giving the regime in Iran financial resources.
ADI hopes that more companies follow Totals example and suspend investments in Iran. Despite Iran's oil and gas resources the Iranian economy is dependent on the outside world. The more companies that boycott the regime in Iran, the weaker becomes the regime. ADI calls on all companies in Sweden to strike a blow for democracy and once for all, boycott the regime in Iran.
